Coco a dog was just brought to a new home. His owner made a list and she read it out loud.

1. Coco a dog was just brought to a new home. His owner made a list and she read it out loud. “Dog shampoo, dog toys, dog food, dog clothes, and a dog leash.” Then Coco’s owner went with the family to the dog store to buy everything Coco needed.

2. Coco stayed in his owner’s room and waited for their return. He was fascinated by how clean the room was. Coco hoped he would sleep in there. Coco thought, “at least I am free from that prison.” He was relieved that he didn’t have to be stuck in a cage with other dogs that barked at him and said he looked weird.

3. Coco had black fur all over him. He was tiny with white dots on him too. Coco had tricks in his mind that were waiting to be carved out. He was tiny but, sometimes people wondered if he was a rabbit or a dog because there was one thing special about Coco…

4. Coco can jump about two feet tall! Although Coco is happy where he is, he does not want to be under a leash. He still thought of ways out of his new home.

5. He thought of jumping out of the window. But every time he would jump, he would fall back down like a meteor crashing into earth.

6. Coco was not strong enough to burst down the door. He thought, ‘’ If I don’t make it out this time I will stop.” He ran at the window, jumped, thought about the sky and something happened. Coco levitated into. the air!

7. He started to bark for joy because he felt free. He saw an airplane above him, and houses with people below him. He always loved the cool air blowing in his face. But Coco wanted to see what it was like to have a family.

8. Coco now wanted to go back inside the house. He knew some things about flying. Like the controls of movement.

9. He thought, ‘’At least the steering is easy. Also the tilting would come out of nowhere. Since I have floppy ears these are flaping up and down but if I want it to’’. Like a flying horse his ears are like the wings .

10. Every time he would lean his right ear downward, he would slant down right. Coco now is more consitrated of how to land. But not a easy landing a landing that lands right into a square box.

11. Now Coco was able to turn around. People below him thought he looked weird. Because it was a flying dog that was side ways turnig around. He squinted at the window. Whenever he squinted at something his speed of flying increased.

12. Coco only knew those things about flying, but not landing. He knew nothing about landing.
