HKSARG – Current Update (1) • Evaluation of BIPV demonstration project completed and report will soon be issued. • EMSD has built a new 350 kW grid-connected BIPV in its new Headquarters Building. APEC 23rd EGNRET Meeting
HKSARG – Current Update (2) • Launched a Wind Measurement Program in mid 2004 to monitor the wind resources at 5 potential sites APEC 23rd EGNRET Meeting
HKSARG – Current Update (3) • The 2 Power Utilities in HK have agreed each to build a commercial-scale wind turbine for demonstration purpose • One already fixed the site, completed EIA and is tendering. Expected to start generation in 2006 APEC 23rd EGNRET Meeting
