  1. What does the future hold?

What’s in your future? Lies and Deceit By, Rachel Hamilton
  2. Nutrition What foods will we have in the future? How will climate change effect the crops? Will we still cook our meals the same way? How will money effect what we eat? What will genetically modified foods do to our bodies?
  3. These are all commonly asked questions about our future nutrition. Due to the changing climate, the soil that we need to grow our crops is becoming much less fertile and therefore we are going to have to rely on genetically modified foods. There have been studies on how GM foods effect our health and safety. As we struggle to have enough food for our worlds population as it is, in the next 50 years our population is estimated to double, and therefore we are going to need to think of a solution. The issues with GM foods is that they create more allergies, and the unknown. Because these creations are still in the works, there are many health risks that we do not know of yet. Also, will the process of GM foods be too pricey? A growing concern of the future is whether or not money will continue to be an issue. Will this recession become a depression? Will prices continue to increase and it becomes impossible for people who make an average living to support their families? We need to start to realize the essentials are the only things that we need in life. If people learn to save their money then money can go towards every day needs such as food, water and gas. I think that the nutrition of the future is not going to be good. I think that fast food is already too popular, and obesity is going to become too common. I think that people aren’t going to have nutrition as their number 1 priority if they are too caught up with the new hover cars or other inventions.
  4. Innovations In the past 150 years our lives have become 100% easier. In the next 150 years, people aren’t going to have to get out of bed to do anything. Televisions, computers, microwaves, DVD, Blu-ray, etc. are all innovations that have made our lives easier and more entertaining. More electronic developments are constantly being made. What to inventions will be next?
  5. Cosmetics What’s in store for the world of cosmetics? How much will we be able to alter our appearance? I think that the future is going to hold a lot more possibilities with plastic surgery. I don’t think that anyone should be able to look perfect, but by the way technology is advancing, I think that, in the future, we will be close to it.
  6. Wild Life North America
  7. Wild Life Asia
  8. Wild Life Ocean Life
  9. WILD LIFE? That was only a small portion of how many animals are endangered at this point in time. It is reasonable to think that in the future these animals will be gone. I think that this is an issue that needs to be dealt with! http://www.earthsendangered.com/index_s.asp http://www.worldwildlife.org/species/ http://animals.about.com/od/wildlifeconservation/tp/helping_endangered_species.htm http://www.ecologyfund.com/ecology/_donate_species.html Check out these websites to find out how!
  10. Real Estate I like to think that the architecture of the future is going to be extremely advanced. I’d like to think that we would be living in innovative houses that we can only imagine today. I think that this may happen because our technological advancements are allowing our imagination become reality!
  11. Experts believe the future will be like Sci-Fi movies Do You Agree?
  12. Lies And Deceit I think that our society cheats, acts on revenge, lies and deceives. I think that in the future this will be escalated. The younger generations are beginning to pick up on these negative notions by society and are beginning to do them at a younger age. If children are beginning to lie and deceive from a young age, can you imagine what our future politicians are going to be like? I think that at this point in time, everyone is well educated on the advancements that can be made. I think that this is going to inspire kids to invent new ideas, but they are going to push their to the top with their ideas. I think that our society is going down hill with kids being introduced to sex, drugs and alcohol from a young age due to media. And I think that that is only going to increase in time. I think that lying and deceiving has become a way of life in our world today, and I don’t see it changing in the future.
  13. Hamlet: Lies and Deceit Hamlet Soft! now to my mother.O heart, lose not thy nature; let not everThe soul of Nero enter this firm bosom:Let me be cruel, not unnatural:I will speak daggers to her, but use none;My tongue and soul in this be hypocrites; How in my words soever she be shent, To give them seals never, my soul, consent!(3.2.384-91) HamletHow strange or odd some'er I bear myself-As I perchance hereafter shall think meetTo put an antic disposition on-(1.5.178) In this quote, Hamlet decides to deceive his friends and family by acting like he is a mad man. Hamlet Give him a heedful noteFor I mine eyes will rivet to his face,And after we will both our judgments joinIn censure of his seeming.(3.2.86-89) Hamlet deceives his mother because he appears to want to cause her harm but he does not intend to ever physically harm her. Hamlet stages the play, which itself is an elaborate deception, to try to catch Claudius in his guilt. This quote is when he reveals his deception to Horatio.
  14. Hamlet: Lies and Deceit Claudius lies to everyone throughout the whole play as he denies that he murdered Old Hamlet. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are deceiving Hamlet when they agree to spy on him for King Claudius Polonius deceives Laertes when he gives him his blessing to go to Paris but sends Reynaldo to spy on him. Polonius deceives Hamlet when he hides behind the curtain to spy on Hamlet's conversation with his mother (3.3.28). This deception causes Polonius his life.
