EQUIPMENT: Computer, projector, print out copies of the Bingo Board PREPARATION: • Played like regular bingo, except the squares are filled in with maths vocabulary or sum answers • Change the maths vocabulary or sum answers to suit your topic on slide 3. Twenty items is normally sufficient • Prepare a set of questions (one per slide) that are questions for each piece of maths vocabulary or sum answers RULES: • Students view slide 3 to choose 6 to 9 RANDOM maths vocabulary or sum answers from the list, which they put randomly on their bingo boards / grids • Begin the slide show, manually advancing slides based upon the audience of students. • A student achieves BINGO when all the maths vocabulary or sum answers on their slide are filled in • When a student BINGOS, they read their answers back to the instructor/host. • Note: some answers are better than others for the slides. • You can shuffle slides each time before you play!! NO COMPUTER? • Children can prepare the bingo board / you can print them out / you can laminate a set • Write the words on the board and prepare questions as normal • Ask questions verbally
