  6. Organizing the school day • Lessons of different lengths • Breaks when necessary • Time for teaching in class • Time for individual work with individual plans • Teachers’ role is changed • Increased motivation for school work

  7. The curriculum • The main curriculum is set by national authorities • Working periods with different subjects as main focus • Interdiciplinary work with the subjects • The pupils choose parts of their curriculum

  13. The future school in Norway • National evaluation system is coming • More focus on ”main” subjects, I think! • New ways of organizing classes and of thinking class teachers • Teachers’ training will be split into ”Primary” and ”Upper primary/lower secondary”
