  2. Don’t make the Children Uncomfortable Don’t talk about personal issues in front of the children Don’t fight and let the children settle with the change. Never tell your children to spy on your ex-partner for information Don’t tell them too much personal information about your separation.

  3. Talk about Children’s Issues Only Don’t talk about your personal issues if it ends up in a fight. Talk about the issues of the children instead. Solve the issues of the children with mutual consent. Follow the rules when the children are around.

  4. Reassurance Reassure your children from time to time. Tell them that they will always be loved. Reassure that your separation has nothing to do with them. Keep telling them they won’t be ever left alone.

  5. Role of Both Parents Both of the parents are important for the children. Children should be loved by the mother and father both. Fathers should stick around after the separation. The Parents should never fight in front of the children.
