Quotation fromJose Ortega y Gasset(1883-1955) • We live at a time when man believes himself fabulously capable of creation, but he does not know what to create.
GreetingsWhat are we talking? • Good Morning! • How are you? • Ohayo! • Konnichiwa! • Ni Hao!
What are we talking? • We are not talking about weather, health, or time. • We are just reconfirming that we are the same kind of people.
What are we? • We are not born to be a human. • We become human by growing up in a human family and society. • Also, we are not born to be a programmer or an artist.
At first • There are are nameless people around me. • And I’m not sure if I myself is same being like them or not. • Maybe I’m one of them.
Then …. • Some of the people are know to me as “YOU” with specific names and faces. • Now I recognize that I am the being just like one of YOU.
After some period of time, • Suddenly I have a strange feeling …. • Maybe I am different from YOU somehow. • Yes, I am certainly a different kind of being, not like YOU, not like anyone of the people.
What shall I do? • I can not live by myself alone. • I must live with YOU and the people with this strange feeling that I am an alien(!). • We11, let’s think about the living strategy among those different kind of people….
Possible Strategies • Stand alone: Keep distance from other people. • “Collective Creativity”: Select some of YOU. Keep close contact with them. Try to get stimulated each other.
Collective Creativity Group • Centered around the driving force: Person(s) who has strongest influential character. • Open to import new stimuli from outside.
Support Environment • How about to consider the “Free City” model of Islamic civilization? • Various facilities: Bazaar for stimuli exchange Karavansaray for visitors Bagh as satellite environments
