  3. Records Layout PLACE RECORDS IN THE FOLLOWIG ORDER: • Permanent Record • Project Records (Advancements - optional) • 4-H Story (not notes) • Photographs • Clippings/Letters (two pages)

  4. Guide To Your Permanent Record • Club Information • Project & Exhibits • Presentations & other Public Appearances • Participation in 4-H Activities • 4-H Events • Advancement Program • Leadership • Citizenship • 4-H Recognition

  5. Guide To Your Project Records • Food Projects • Feed Costs • Animals for Meat • Other Costs • Profit or Loss • Advancements

  6. Writing your 4-H story • Open with an interesting happening • Highlight all of this year’s projects & activities • Explain how 4-H helped you become a better leader or citizen • Describe how 4-H has influenced you and your future plans

  7. Preparing Your 4-H photo Record • Three pages (one side only) • Don’t over lap your photos • Add captions and dates to each photo • Photography project - must include three additional pages

  8. Why Keep 4-H Records • Gain knowledge and skills • “Make the Best Better” • Awards Luncheon • 4-Hers may receive special awards for outstanding records and are honored at the a luncheon. ANY QUESTIONS?
