NR 19.73(1) Section 7 Documented experience and knowledge required before adding new species (species group) to license. • Original proposal modified to allow flexibility • Maintain consistent standards with federal requirements AGENDA ITEM #2B2 Tami Ryan, Wildlife Health Section Chief
NR 19.73(3) Section 12 Subpermittes are required to be located within a 60 mile radius from the advanced licensee. • Still allows utilization of ‘off-site’ assistance. • In-person communication, guidance, and consultation within a reasonable amount of time. • This is not a requirement for sponsorships between basic and advanced licensees. NR 19.74(3) Section 16 Submit proof of having obtained at least one continuing education credit during the preceding license period to renew license. • Acknowledges wildlife rehabilitation as a professional endeavor. • Provides flexibility to meet this requirement. • Also can be applied towards new species addition requirement.
