TG-10 Charge • Provide standard testing procedures for evaluating proppants used in hydraulic fracturing and gravel-packing operations. • “Proppants” - sand, ceramic media, resin-coated proppants, etc. • Provide consistent methodology for testing performed on hydraulic fracturing and/or gravel-packing proppants.

  3. TG 10 Update • Current Structure: • Two Work Groups (3rd pending) • WG-1 – Physical Properties Testing • WG-2 – Long-term Conductivity Testing • Study Group 3 - Unconfined Compressive Testing Procedure (coated proppants testing)
