  2. Affidavit of Transfer to Real Estate The BMV no longer requires an application for certificate of title in addition to the ATRE application, pursuant to IC 9-17-6-15.1 (d).

  3. BENEFITS • Compliance with Indiana law. • Eliminates the complex title application process. • BMV ATRE staff resources can be utilized for other • programs. • Increases application turnaround time. • Reduces the cost of the ATRE application from $35- • $56 to $20.

  4. Application for Affidavit of Transfer to Real Estate - State Form 51408 The ATRE application and ATRE Affidavit have been combined.

  5. CENTRALIZED APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS • All applications are processed through the Central Office Title Processing department. A manufactured home must have a serial number or vehicle identification number affixed to the home prior to applying for the ATRE. • Affidavit of Transfer to Real Estate - State Form 51408 • One Proof of Ownership Document. • $20 ATRE Fee. • A downloadable ATRE Application Packet is available at myBMV.com.
