Some key findings from the Study…. • Training:92% of organisations DO NOT provide training in respect of HIV/AIDS. • Condom distribution:91% DO NOT provide condoms in the workplace. • VCT:95% have not availed voluntary counselling and testing services to employees. • HIV Care Services:98,5% DO NOT provide care services for HIV affected employees.

HIV/AIDS Management: • In 75% of the respondent organisations nobody is responsible for managing HIV/AIDS in the Workplace. • The managing director is responsible in only 2% of the respondent companies. HIV/AIDS policy: • 93% of organisations DO NOT have a company HIV/AIDS policy.

9. Some key findings from the Study…. Perceived impact of HIV/AIDS: • 64% of respondent companies believe that HIV/AIDS will negatively impact on their business operations – however 36%, believe that the epidemic will not impact on their business. • 18% believe that the impact will be Extreme; • 38% believe the impact will be Moderate; and • 44% believe that the impact will only be slight.
