  2. The pronoun Y: Use it to replace a location, to avoid repeating it. Attention! Pronouns are always placed before the verb!!! 1) Je suisalléà Paris et c’étaitfantastique! J’ysuisallé en avion. 2) Je suis née à Castelnaudarydans le sud-ouest de la France. J’ysuisrestée pendant trois ans.

Direct Object Pronouns: Use them to replace a person, an object,after a verb that doesn’t need a preposition after (this is why the Object is direct) 1) Je fais la vaisselle. = Je la fais. 2) Tu vois le monument? Oui, je le vois très bien! 3) Il regarde les films d’action tous les soirs. = Il les regarde tous les soirs. Direct object pronouns me te le/la nous vous les

A toi: remplace avec le pronom qui convient 1) Tu aimes les frites? = Oui, je ______________________________ 2) Tu veux cette robe? = OUi , je __________________________ 3) Vous avez visité ces monuments? = OUi, nous _____________________. 4) Tu aime ce nouveau portable Samsung? = OUi, je ____________________________beaucoup!

  5. To expand your sentences: use the relative pronouns qui / que 1) Qui Qui is a pronoun that replaces the subjectfrom the first sentence. ex: J’aimecette robe . Cette robe est verte. = J’aime cette robe qui est verte. ex: J’ai vu le musée Rodin.Le musée est très intéressant. = J’ame le musée Rodinqui est très intéressant. Structure: Qui + verb

  6. 2) Que is a pronoun that replaces the object from the 1st sentence. ex: J’aime beaucoup cet acteur. J’ai vu cet acteur dans d’autres films. = J’aime beaucoup cet acteur que j’ai vu dans d’autres films Structure: Que + Subject + Verb.

  7. A toi: remplace avec qui ou que 1) Qu’est-ce que c’est? C’est le souvenir _________j’ai achèté pour mon père. 2) Tu as vu cette place _________est à côté du chateau? 3) Voilà les souvenirs _______j’ai achète hier. 4 ) C’est le pilote __________conduit l’avion. 5 ) C’et le train __________je dois prendre pour aller à Lyon.
