Methodology of the study • Sampliing on the basis of ecological zone, developmental regions, rural and urban • Respondents- Randomly on the basis of households and gender • 17 districts from five development regions; 3 from mountains, 9 from hill & five from Terai on the basis of ecological belt • Total 1836 respondents; Details of the study areas Details of the respondents
Findings of the trust survey 1. Happy not happy Scale- Five points scale, 1- Not at all happy, 2- not very happy, 3- Quite happy, 4- very happy, 5- donot know N= 1633 to 1780
2. Satisfaction as a whole Ten Points scales- 1- Highly Unsatisfactory to 10- highly satisfactory N=1481 to 1773
3. Trust on Public Organizations Five points scale:1-Not at all satisfied, 2- Not very satisfied, 3- Rather satisfied, 4- Very satisfied, 5- Dont know N= 1699 to 1756
4. Trust on Professions Five points scale- 1- Very negative, 2- Negative, 3-Neither negative nor positive, 4- Positive & 5- Very positive N= 1495-1806
5. Proudness Scale- Five points; 1- Not at all proud, 2- Not very proud, 3-Quite proud, 4- Very proud, 5- Donot know N= 1365 to1808
6. Evaluation of Public Organization and Public employees Scale- Five points scale, 1- Strongly disagree, 2- Quite disagree, 3- Partly agree, 4- Strongly agree, 5- Donot know N= 1666 to1755
