Descrizione della Fisica •Sezioni d’urto e BR per MHiggs = 300 GeV : s(gg H) = 10 pb (gluon fusion) s(qq qqH) = 3 pb (WW,ZZ fuzion) BR(H WW) = 0.7 BR(W jj ) = 0.64 BR(W e,m) = 0.22 sxBR = 1280 fb • Fondi considerati : tt, W+jets • Risultati molto preliminari: S/N = 0.84 Significativita’ = 4.3 (LI = 30 fb-1) S/N = 0.84 Significativita’ = 7.8 (LI = 100 fb-1)

  3. Oggetti nello stato finale Stato finale: 1 l (e,m), 2 jets centrali, Etmiss (nel caso di produzione attraverso WW o ZZ fusion si hanno anche 2 jets forward) 2 o 4 jets jetmet 1 leptone egamma mu Etmiss jetmet Anti-b-tagging btau (fondo ttbar) Impatto su:
