The problem with the original sentence was a problem with the preposition. Today’s lesson is on when to use a preposition or article and what preposition to use.

Review vocab on page 436; Write out Page 437 Activities 2 and 3. Draw an outline of France. Then start in Paris and choose 5 destinations including countries and cities that you will go to. Draw a line from one place to the next. (Use your partner map or a map in the textbook to find French cities) Underneath the map, write 5 sentences. For example, from Paris I draw a line to England and put a large dot, then from England I draw a line to Rouen and draw a large dot, then from Rouen I draw a line to Spain and draw a large dot…etc. Then my sentence will be: “I will go from Paris to England.” “I will go from England to Rouen.” etc. (“J’irai de Paris en Angleterre.) I will go = J’irai.
