Bullying Includes Definition of bully noun (plural bullies) a person who uses strength or influence to harm or intimidate those who are weaker: he is a ranting, domineering bully verb (bullies, bullying, bullied) [with object] use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force them to do something: a local man was bullied into helping them

Bully & Victim Characteristics “A typical bully has trouble resolving problems with others and also has trouble academically,” said Cook. “He or she usually has negative attitudes and beliefs about others, feels negatively toward himself/herself, comes from a family environment characterized by conflict and poor parenting, perceives school as negative and is negatively influenced by peers.” “A typical victim is likely to be aggressive, lack social skills, think negative thoughts, experience difficulties in solving social problems, come from negative family, school and community environments and be noticeably rejected and isolated by peers,” said Cook.

  6. Tools of Support Bullying victims are often reluctant to report such events and when they do systems may be unable to grasp the scope of the issue/issues. Functional resources may be lacking due to scarce funding financial commitments. I recommend all schools adopt and adapt to an on line reporting tool.

  9. Be The Change The news media is filled with tragic stories related to Bullying. Amanda Todd-Felicia Garcia-Paige Moravitz-Hayley Fentress–Erin Galagher –Ciara Pugsleyare just a few children under the age of 16 that have suicided due to Bullying.

  10. Bullying Task Force I am calling for a national debate on the subject of Bullying. Social Networks may be employed to Promote it Sharing with fellow students as to the needs Promoting Education Conducting a Needs Assessment
