Science Laboratory Rules • Do not enter the Lab unless a teacher is present. • No eating or drinking allowed in the Lab. • Please do not run or misbehave in the Lab. • If something breaks or spills, tell your teacher immediately! • Do not touch equipment unless you have been asked to do so. • Tie back long hair when performing an experiment. • Always stand when performing an experiment. • Wear protective goggles. • Keep your work area safe and clear of clutter. • Wash your hands when you finish in the Lab. • Listen carefully to instructions. • Dispose of wastes as instructed. • Closed shoes must be worn – no open toed sandals or flip-flops.
