About Us: In 1973, Hardhat worked on site with a construction company located in Memphis, TN to understand their needs to have a software that would allow them to improve job profitability, manage cash flow, control costs during the job, produce more accurate estimates and to help control vendor and subcontractors costs. Hardhat then developed one of the very first Profit and Job Cost Accounting Software packages available in North America. In 1998, Jamie Rushing who had been a client of Hardhat for ten years saw the potential of further advancing the Job Cost Accounting Software. Jamie moved forward and purchased Hardhat and has since made customizations and enhancements to make Hardhat the most comprehensive and fully integrated Job Cost software available on the market today. An existing customer approached Jamie and asked him to develop software for their specific needs in the oil and gas industry. After researching their needs, Jamie proceeded to create Hardhat’s much anticipated Oil & Gas Cost Accounting Software and the Daily Field Application. These Applications gives you the ability to see that status of your well, rig, or job in “REAL TIME”, while eliminating your needs for time consuming and cumbersome spreadsheets. Hardhat IS and ALWAYS WILL BE a customer driven company. Hardhat takes pride in working with our customers and their ever changing needs in a diverse and challenging environment. Daily Field Application The daily field application gives you the power of knowing in REAL TIME the status of your job or well.The daily field application gives you the power of knowing REAL TIME the status of your job or well. This Feature allows you the ability to see a problem BEFORE it happens saving you not only man hours but money as well. This is the screen that your employees in the field will enter their information in. ALL OF THE FIELDS are customizable. You can list by well or job. Your employee will enter all pertinent information including labor, equipment, parts and any other comments that pertain to that well or job. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION. If they have an internet connection, the information will sync immediately with the home office computer. If they do not have an internet connection, the Daily Field application will save the data on the local computer. Once an internet connection is available, your employee just needs to open the program and the Daily Field application will sync stored data with the home office computer at that time.

  4. Daily Field Application Syncing The syncing will transfer all information to the home office accounting software. This eliminates having to key the information in a second time. You can now pull detailed reports that will eliminate your need for time consuming spread sheets… You can create the following reports in minutes: 1 Daily Activity by Job\Well, Crew and Supervisor 2 Payroll Input 3 Labor Hours 4 Equipment Hours 5 Parts Quantities The reports above give you real time status on everything pertaining to a job or well.
