Classroom Procedures • Yellow Notes • Pick up/Bus • Communication • Absent Cards/Safe Arrival • You need to send in a note for absence to be excused. • Please call the Safe Arrival line • Email • Please call office if last minute pick up instead of email. • Red Folder • Please return everyday. • Friday Folder • Please check/empty contents and return on Mondays.

Classroom Procedures • Snack • Please send a healthy snack with your child each day. We want the snack to give them the boost of energy they need in the morning. • Examples: pretzels, granola bars, fruit, etc.
Class Activities • Book Buddies • Take home reading books • Students will read to a “Buddy” at home each night. • Newscaster • Current Events • Students choose a news event that they find interesting and share it with the class. • A folder will be sent home each week with the “Newscaster”.
