Expectations • Govt expects Public Bodies to: • Create strong links between business activity and National Outcomes & Purpose Targets • Build purposeful collaborative partnerships • Engage with CPPs to support delivery of SOAs • Public Bodies expect Govt to: • Provide clarity of approach through guidance & discussion • Provide support for leadership and culture change • Support a proportionate approach and avoid complexity
Are we there yet? • Real Progress is being made: • strong evidence that corporate/business plans are showing alignment with NPF • strong evidence of collaborative working • Further development • build stronger evidence bases to support OBA • develop wider family groupings to optomise combined impact of strategic spend against NPF • consider wider potential for engaging in CPPs to support delivery of SOAs
Where Next • By April 2011 • Organisational outcomes and performance monitoring aligned with the NPF through robust and well evidenced corporate/business plans • Cultural change embedded which embraces a much more collaborative approach to the delivery of public services and the pursuit of National Outcomes & Purpose Targets
