  2. Zionism- Worldwide movement of Jews that resulted in the establishment in Israel. • Persecution- driving others away because of their religion, race, of beliefs

  3. Independence • May 14, 1948- the Jewish community declared it's independence • Moved because of Zionism, because the Jewish people believed that Israel was the Holy land for them.   5. US View • The United State supports Israel. Previous American Presidents have been active in supporting the world's Jewish communities • Many countries think that the US isn't fair with their support with Israel and Palestine. They think that the United States favors Israel.

  6.
