SEPA - Building a Diverse Pipeline • Encourages and supports partnerships between scientists and clinicians with educators, community organizations and science centers to: • FORMAL: Increase the participation of a diverse population young people in clinical and basic research careers • INFORMAL: Improve K-12 and public understanding of, and support for, NIH funded medical research • FORMAL/INFORMAL PARTNERSHIPS: • Science Museum & K-12 STEM • K-12 STEM & Science Museum Established 1991
