What is the nature of the industry? • The nature of the photography industry is to supply pictures to the people that are going to buy magazines, papers and also on the internet. Photography can also document important events such as the Japanese Tsunami which happened In March 12th , or the Royal Wedding which took place on the 29th April 2011. Other events such as the World Cup 2010 or the or the Olympics 2012. Without photography we wouldn’t be able to see any of these events. Photography can also give us the chance to see other countries and different cultures. This is good because without seeing pictures, you wouldn’t know what other countries look like therefore you wouldn’t want to go and see it.
What does it supply or offer? • Photography can supply a lot of things. The main thing that it can give to people is jobs and an income. Photography is also used for many businesses, for science – crime scenes, manufacturing, art and other purposes. It can give you pictures in black and white or in colour.
What type of other industries and or audiences does it supply to? • Photography can supply to many different industries and people. The main industries that It supplies to are normally papers, magazines and TV. Without pictures everything you watch would be boring because it would just be words. If they were like this then no-one would buy them. You can also see pictures on billboards or posters.
