What is The STISD Career & Technology Half Day Programs? • The Half Day Programs are programs that offer free, high-quality career education to Rio Grande Valley Students who receive special education services • As a student of the Half Day Programs you will be taking courses at your home high school half of the day and the other half at one of our STISD high schools • The programs prepare students for their post-secondary education and for the workforce • Students enrolled take 3 career and technology course periods and 1 core academic course (total periods = 4) • Transportation is provide to students by STISD to and from your home town/school • Opportunity to join Skills USA and HOSA is given to all students

Enrollment Requirements… • Must be enrolled in special education at your home high school • Must live in Cameron, Hidalgo, or Willacy County • Must submit an application to your Special Education campus department and they will forward your application to the STISD Career & Technology Half Day Programs Office
