  2. Riding Position • Rider’s eyes are up and looking straight infront of them • Rider’s head is balanced • Rider is sitting up straight with their back straight • Rider’s legs are underneath their body • Rider’s heels are down

  3. Jumping Positions • Rider follows horse’s motion • Rider’s back should be parallel to horse’s back • Rider’s seat retreats to rear of the saddle to absorb horse’s motion • Heels down will help legs absorb horse’s motion
