  6. Howto turnON/OFFiTasteMVP Pressthepowerbutton3times,thenyoucanturnonthedevice Pressthepowerbuttoninquicksuccession3times,whenthegreenLRDwillflashtwice andtheunitwillshutdown. TherearethreeLED’sembeddedwithinthepowerswitch–whenthedeviceisturned ontheywilllightupinthissequence: •

  7. • Fromthispointonwheneveryou pressthepowerbuttonthedevicewillpowerthe attachedatomiserandthefollowingLEDwilllightwhilstthebuttonispressed • AsthebatteryvoltagegraduallylowersthroughusageeventuallythefollowingLED willlightwhenyou pressthepowerbutton: • Finallyasthebatteryvoltageisalmostspent,thefollowingLEDwilllightwhenyou pressthepowerbutton: • ShortlyafterthisthesameLEDwilleventuallyflashandtheunitwillshutdown, indicatingthatitwillneedtoberechargedbeforeitcanbeoperatedagain

  8. THE VV DISPLAY. Thereisa displaypanelwhenfirst unpackedthe mirror finish. Displaypanelwillhave a plasticscreen protector, that youhave choiceof removing thisalthoughthe finishis scratchresistant. obviously,wearandtearandeventual scratchescannotbe guaranteednotto occur.

  9. • WhenevereithertheV+orV-buttonispressed, thefirstthingdisplayedwillbethePUFF •Thepuffcounterincrementsupwardsbyoneevery timethepowerbuttonispressedduringnormal operation,regardlessofhowlongthebuttonisheld down.Thepuffcounterwilldisplayforapproximately 1.5secondsandthenthecurrentvoltagesettingwillbe displayed. Oncevoltageisdisplayedyou mayadjustthevoltageupordownusingtheV+orV-in0.1Vsteps from3.3Vupto5V.Thevoltagesettingdonotcyclecontinuously–onceyou havereached5V theonlywaytoadjustbackdownistousetheV-buttonandviceversa. NOTE:Afterthe buttonsarepressedorvoltagehasbeenadjustedyouwillnot beableto operatethe powerbutton untilthe displayhascloseddown– this takes approximately1.5-2.0 seconds.

MVP ATOMISER CONNECTIONS Thedeviceisabletobe connectedwithnoissuestothefollowingtypesofatomisers: •CE4 •CE5 •eGo •VIVINOVA •510(alltypes) It shouldbenotedthoughthatcertainatomiserswhicharecapableofbeingfittedtoanEGO threadedconnectionwillnotbeabletobeusedonthisdeviceunlessa510toEGOadapteris used–thisisduetotheincreasedheightofthefirstshoulderofthefactoryfittedconnector.

  12. CHARGING ChargingofMVPcanbefinishedbychargingadapterandpluggingitintoa USBport andthecorrespondingMICROUSBconnectorontheadapterintothebottomofthedeviceinthe INPUTport. ThechargeadapterconsistsofastandardUSBconnectioncabledtoa3wayadaptercomprising aMINI/ MicroUSBconnectorandanIPhoneconnector(notsuitableforiPhone5) Theunitrequiresapproximately3.5to5.5hourstofullychargedependantonthedischargestate ofthebattery–youareabletousethedevicewhilst itis chargingviaitspass-throughfunctionality. Howeveritis notatruedirectcurrentpass-throughandstillreliesuponthebatterytodeliver workingcurrent. Ifthebatteryis heavily dischargedtheLED’s willeitherdisplayredororangeforashorttime– oncetheLeddisplayssteadygreenstatustherewillbeenoughchargewithinthebatterytoallow useofthedeviceduringitschargingcycle. Notehoweverthatcontinualuninterrupteduseof thedevicewillessentiallynegateanycharging takingplaceandthedevicewilllikelynotchargeforanextremelylongdurationunderthis circumstance. WhenthedevicehasbeenfullychargedtheGreenLEDwillceasetolightupandthedevice may nowbedisconnectedandusedas pernormal.

  13. Duetothehighcapacityofthedevicebattery–whencircumstancesrequire- it canbeusedtocharge 3rdpartydevicessuchasmobilephonesiPodsetc…throughuseoftheoutputterminalonthebaseof thedevice. InordertodothisyoumustfirstslidetheOutputON/OFFswitchtotheON positionandthiswill activatetheUSBoutputport–connectadevicetobechargedintothisUSBportandtheMVPwill commencetochargethedeviceyouhaveattached. Note–naturallythiswillseverelylimitthebatterycapacityofthedeviceforactualoperationof atomisersas availablepoweris drainedforthe3rdpartydevice.HungrydevicesasuchasIPADS whichcanpullupto2.5ampsormoreareNOTrecommendedforthisdevice –theMVPcanoutputa maximumof 1Awhichwilldrainvery quicklywhenconnectedtopowerhungrydevices. EnsurethatthedeviceOUTPUTswitchis intheOFFpositionfornormalvapingoperation. Note:ThedevicecanbechargedviastandardUSBto MICROUSBcablespluggedintomainsUSB chargerswithanoutputupto1Ampswithnoissues.
