Why would want to trade your health for a few quick bites of junk between work? Here is a list of food items that you can munch on during office hours. These snacks are not only healthy but easy to prepare as well, so now you can strike a perfect balance between your busy schedule and health.
Boiled eggs with salt and pepper It has been often seen that diabetics are also patients of high blood pressure. Therefore, it becomes important that you control the salt intake along with your sugar intake.
You do not need to have bland food. You can season your food with unsalted oregano, pepper, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, basil, nutmeg, mace, cumin seeds, asafoetida, carom seeds, fennel seeds etc.
All you need to do is boil eggs and you have the perfect snacks awaiting you. Eggs have a lot of protein and are a rich source of vitamin B12.

If you are in the mood for something more then you can cut some fruits and dip it in milk and fat-free cream and prepare a special fruit cream salad to snack on.
Oatmeal Easy and quick to make, oats are an interesting option for snacks. Full of fiber and protein, oats are the perfect combination of health and ease.
