  2. Archaeologist • A person who studies past human culture and life. • As historians, we rely on Archaeologists to help us make decisions about history

  3. Artifact Analysis Your Mission: Your group has been given an artifact from another culture that has been extinct for hundreds or possibly thousands of years. You need to be quite careful with the item because it is on loan from a museum. Your group will need to examine the artifact and write down all observations and ideas about your culture. Make sure that your group discusses the artifact and decides what it was used for in that culture.

  4. Artifact Analysis Expectations • You will have five minutes to complete the questions, so work promptly • Do not destroy/graffiti/ ruin the artifacts- remember they are delicate! • Work only with your group • Be productive
