INET Fleet Engineered Management System (IFEM) • Automatic Asset Location • Preventive Maintenance • Work Order Management • Security & Access Control • Reporting • Host Interfacing • Two Way Messaging • Cost Savings • Enterprise Viewer
Automatic Asset Location • IFEM can track and trace equipment in real time or at specified time intervals using GPS Technology. This reduces monitoring fees and only collects the data required. • Advanced multilayer Geofencing enables the operators to monitor and log the movements of a vehicle into or out of a specific area. • IFEM utilizes a combination of custom maps and satellite images. • A “bread crumb trail” feature allows the operator to see the movement of an asset on the map and display every record for asset details at that point.
Preventive Maintenance • IFEM includes an on board electronic recorder that enables the maintenance manager to maintain a higher degree of availability of the fleet. The IFEM onboard computer records data such as: Hour meter, Odometer, Location, OBDII parameters (if available) • The collected data is transmitted either in real time or when the vehicle is within range of the IFEM host network. • On the server side, IFEM provides a multitude of tools for the lead hands and managers such as : Extensive report system to see the fleet usage, Maintenance shop electronic display, Tow truck dispatch, Electronic daily inspection sheets, Alert notifications for any exceptions. • Maintenance shop display and Vehicle Walk around Inspection • IFEM provides a view into the status of the shop and each asset individually. It can be customized to display only the information each user is authorized to view. • IFEM rolling maintenance dispatch system allows you to record all work incidents the technician handles during his shift. It allows for a manager to add work orders and to schedule work to be done at a later stage. It saves time and data entry errors from having to record this information by hand. The system confirms that all the work was done at the right time and the right place. It can be interfaced with third party accounting software to invoice immediately after each call.
Work Order Management • The work order system is a web-based application that helps you streamline your work order processing from the initial request to completion of the work. • You can record work orders and assign work to staff. Staff can check online to see what work has been assigned, and they can update information about work orders and the stages of completion. Staff can use the web to submit orders, and to check information on the work, such as the expected due date/time, whether the job is complete, and other data. • Users can be grouped by department. An option allows you to restrict users to interact only with their department information. • Total real-time work order management from mobile devices. Save time and money. Staff can report immediately upon completion of a task. This also enables immediate billing for a service call.
Security & Access Control • IFEM provides the fleet manager with a flexible security system to identify the vehicle operators. • The security system is role based. Every technician is assigned protocols according to their work assignments, such as what vehicles they are allowed to operate, areas in which they are allowed to go, etc. • If you currently have an identification protocol in place, IFEM can adapt to it. This eliminates the need to maintain and support another system. • If your organization does not have an established system, we will recommend several options to choose from. • IFEM is prepared to accommodate systems such as biometrics, keyfobs, smart cards, and photo ID badges (see sample badge to the bottom). • IFEM security module provides the option to remotely prevent any kind of equipment asset from operating, if it is determined that it is being used without permission. This is an excellent feature for high security applications such as airports and rental equipment businesses.
Reporting • With IFEM flexible and customizable reporting system, every manager has the ability to choose from canned reports or create new ones. The data can be presented in various formats (Coma Separated Values, Microsoft Excel and Word) and can even be exported to other systems for further analysis or for billing. • IFEM supports event based reporting where predetermined events can trigger alerts and reports. • IFEMallows authorized users to produce their own new reports based on their needs. • No limit to how many reports can be created. • A lot of organizations already have their preferred method of analyzing data. IFEM allows you to export the data to other popular systems and analyze them the way you are accustomed to.
Host Interfacing • IFEM provides access to your reports on your mobile enabled hand held devices as well. • Without IFEM, technicians have to go to their ops building and check a computer screen for updates on their schedule and then go back to an assignment. In large airports this is even more costly, as distances are longer and longer. With the convenience of a hand held device, the operators can have the latest information at their fingertips.
Two Way Messaging • IFEMcan send a message to one specific, or to a group of technicians. This allows for a discrete communication channel between the tech and the dispatcher in real time. • Quite often, two way radio transmission quality is bad enough that messages disappear into thin air. IFEM provides a new way to communicate with your Technicians. Each message is recorded in the IFEM database and its delivery to the driver is recorded. • Conventional methods, such as radios require the technicians to respond while driving, which puts the driver in a dangerous situation. With IFEM, an in-vehicle screen allows the user to read, write, or reply to a message when it is safe to do so.
Cost Savings • Enables the fleet operators to eliminate time consuming data entry (and related errors), and obtain accurate statistics about the fleet. • Leads to reduced fuel consumption, reduced number of oil changes, increased engine life, and less time in the maintenance shop. • Less time in the maintenance shop leads to savings in repair costs, and higher vehicle utilization. • The reduction in total hours of vehicle down time leads to savings from having to buy fewer vehicles to cover the loss of usage of the disabled units. • Reduced green house gas: CO2 from conventional gasoline = 19.6 pounds/gallon. The combustion of each gallon of conventional gasoline produces 4.867m³ or 171.88ft3 of CO2. (source: International Carbon Bank and Exchange. Website http://www.icbe.com/carbondatabase/CO2volumecalculation.asp) • Issuing/tracking work orders • Automated dispatching • Up to date information always available to technicians.
Enterprise Viewer • Designed with the control and command room operator in mind, the Enterprise Viewer provides a visual window to the status of the fleet and the tasks at hand. • The enterprise viewer configured for an operations manager. • The use of multiple displays gives the operator the opportunity to monitor multiple events simultaneously. At the click of a mouse, the individual quadrant of the screen becomes the primary focus via the active screen. • The Enterprise Viewer is configurable to display four of the most frequently used screens, eliminating the need to switch screens or have multiple monitors in front of you. • The Enterprise Viewer allows for a smaller control room and/or less expensive hardware. • Each department in the organization can have its own configuration and multiple instances of the Enterprise Viewer running at any given time.
INET Multi-Display System (IMDS-2000) IMDS is a combination of individual High Resolution LCD monitors that display different types of computer generated graphical data from various locations at the same time • IMDS has been designed to work hand and hand with IFEM and/or any Windows or MAC applications. • IMDS is an ideal solution for command and control rooms where data from different locations (Computer Programs) needs to be displayed in a central location. • The IMDS-2000 accomplishes this with an innovative software and hardware architecture that avoids the downfalls of relying on complex servers, matrix switches and distribution amplifiers.
