TASK: In your book Make a list of buildings You have visited. Where are they and why are they important?
OUR FINAL PRODUCT… 7 As a class, we will produce a book. Each double page will contain a photograph of a building which is important to each of you and a narrative which explains why this building means so much. We will hold an exhibition during the last week of term where each of you will exhibit your photograph and narrative on an A3 sheet. Parents and carers can order a copy of the book.

Year 7 Castles Visit.Tuesday 5th November. • Go to G3 at 8.45. Sit in your Humanities group as you would for assembly. Make sure you have been to the toilet first as it will be a long journey. • You need to be in uniform. No trainers. • Bring a pen and pencil. • Bring a packed lunch. • Bring a clipboard or something to write on. • Bring a coat if it is cold or wet. • We will be back at about 4.30 pm • You may want to bring a camera.
TASK Imagine you have been given funding to create a new building for Oldland Common. Create a proposal for your building: draw it and add labels. Think about: What the building will be used for/what is it’s main purpose? What will the windows and doors be like? How many floors will it have?
