Achievement and Behavior Academic Goals Scholars are expected to come into 2nd grade at a level J/K. By the end of the year they are supposed to be on a M. Hopes and Dreams Scholars created their own goals that they have for this school year. They are posted outside their classrooms. www.pcsb.org/sandylane-es
Agenda Books/Communication Logs • Agendas started going home 9/4. • Parents should initial every night. • Any communication about missing school, leaving • early, going home a different way should be put • each scholars agenda. www.pcsb.org/sandylane-es
Ways to Help Your Child at Home • Ensuring your scholar is completing homework. • Reading at home 15 – 20 minutes a night. • Work on sight words and vocabulary. www.pcsb.org/sandylane-es

Positive Behavior Intervention & Support Class Dojo Sandy Lane uses a reinforcement system called "Class Dojo." With Class Dojo, scholars earn points directly related to the The Arts Lane’s five school-wide expectations know as SHARK.
