約8年もの間、不動産になっていた車ですが、復活しました。約8年もの間、不動産になっていた車ですが、復活しました。 • 私の高校時代の友人の実家にある爺さんジムニーです。 • 1975年式です。359ccなので、JB33とは実に939cc、ジムニー1000(SJ40)(970cc)もの排気量差があります。LJ20を横にすると33は、まるで3ナンバーのように見えてしまいます。このLJ20Fは、このボディで4人乗りを実現するため対向座席で、幌が高くなっています。JB33は215/75R15履いてますが、LJ20より低い。 • そこらへんのバイクのエンジンよりも小さい… • 水冷2サイクル2気筒。グロス28ps/5500rpm 3.8kg-m/5000rpm実用一点張りの室内。ステアリングは握りがとても細いが、車重が625kgということもありとても回すのは楽でした。ミッションレバーは長いリンケージで繋がっており、各ギアのポジションが曖昧です。ウインドウオッシャーはSJ10の途中までみられた物と同じ、ラバーのノブを握ってその空気圧で圧送するものです。 • 運転席背面にダルマ型の放熱器があります。寒冷地仕様だけの装備でしょうか?結構温かいとのことです。 • 一度ナンバーを切ってしまったので残念ながら現行のサイズ・色のナンバーになっているのが惜しまれますが、今回のレストアでかなりキレイな状態で復元しました。 スズキからツリ目のグリル新品が出てきたのはラッキーでしたね。 • 実際にクロスカントリー走行をしてみましたが、実にほのぼの。言うことを効かないキャブを操りながら、全く動かないサスをラインでカバーする走り。 動けなくなったら、乗員でどうにかなる車重。JB33を横目にみると、LJ20は人の乗れる芝刈り機というか快適な耕耘機というか、そんな感じでありました。 • 戻る
