1. During the Re-Charter Period Don’t Forget • Take the orientation training offered every year. Please sign up!! • Unit representatives should verify their adult leadership so that they have all of the needed positions filled for the coming year. Do you know what those required positions are? • Adult applications should always include the signature page, and the YPT certificate every time for all adults even if they are just changing positions. • Get your Webelos incoming processed immediately.  Don’t wait until re-charter in the winter. That goes for all applications as well. • Adults who changed positions or moved from a pack to a troop (from one program to another) should INCLUDE their registration number on their application to make sure that council processes them using their existing number.  • Using a full name one time (Andrew) and a nickname the next (Andy) can get you two different scouter registration numbers.  This will impact your training records and the YPT certificate will get lost/disconnected and during the re-charter period the quickest fix is to take the course again. • The adults should check their myscouting.org account and make sure their number is correctly reflected – this is important for both newadults and existingregistered adults.  If they have two different registration numbers, let the DE and the Commissioner know..
