Training Objective The goal of this presentation is to identify the processes necessary to insure a successful Orientation Program for the Department Of Corrections.
Initial Preparation • Coordinate number of vacancies available in each classroom. • Setup Training Room for Testing and Enrollment Students. • Prepare Assessment Documents. • Prepare Supply Bin for class.
ORIENTATION DOCUMENTS • Documents completed during orientation • Student Enrollment Form • Student Contract • CSAS Form 130 • ADA attendance form
Forms Criteria • Description of Forms • Student Enrollment Form • Student Contract • CSAS Form 130 • Admittance Form
Classes Available • ABE/GED/ESL/HS • INDEPENDENT STUDY • HEALTH EDUCATION • COMPUTER APPLICATIONS • WEB PAGE DESIGN
ESL Students • Assign Translater • Enrollment Form • Student Contract • Assign to ABE/ESL
Student Adding/Changing Classes • Verify test date • Enroll if slot available
Attendance Report • Add only new students • Mark “L” box for all students
Orientation Enrollment Form • Check for accuracy • Distribute a copy to all classes • File original in binder
