Lunch Detention • TARDY POLICY • You will have to eat your lunch with a member of the Valley Staff if…. • YOU DO NOT make up the time with your Fix-It Tix AND 1ST period teacher!! • You will have 24 HOURS to clean it up
1st Period Fix It Tickets • You MUST pay your 1st period teacher back the time you missed • You HAVE 24 hours to “fix it” • OR You will end up in Lunch Detention • You get the DAY back which counts toward credit earned!!
Bathroom, Etc • Any time you need to leave…. • Check the back wall • Is the “pass” there?? • My pass is a clipboard • No need to shout out “Can I go….?” • Fill out your pass, date, time • Then GO---WITH clipboard!! • Please return my clipboard

Credit Earning • Show up every day • Work off tardies • 15 productive days = 1 credit • Earn Absences back before or after school • ON Tract to earn CREDIT RECOVERY • Contract with one teacher for max of 2 “credit recovery” credits per Quarter

Myths • Produce approximately 8 Myths a year • 3 per Quarter • 3rd Q is devoted to is Yearbook • Each Myth consists of about 40 “JOBS” • Grades are based on the number of completed jobs • 4 jobs = B • 5 jobs = B+ • 6 jobs = A • 7+ jobs = ½ extra credit!!
Jobs • Each Myth will have specific jobs • You sign up for jobs you want • Some jobs will be assigned • JOB CHART keeps us on tract • Supervising Editor for each Myth • Editor does the final edits/order/copies
