  5. 213 2 You can look up references to verses in two different interpretations of the Qur’an quickly and easily. You can see the verse in the Haleem or Arberry interpretations, or both at once.

  6. Practice Now that you have seen a brief introduction, try to find this information. • What do the Qur’anic verses say about the charging of interest? • What is ablution? • Who is Fatima Mernissi? • Look up Chapter 16 verse 10 in the Arberry translation of the Qur’an.
