Deciding At The “Fork” • Churches promoting inherited sin (depravity) don’t demand immersion… but claim their “baptism” remits sin & is in the name of Christ (Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, etc.)
Deciding At The “Fork” • Churches promoting “faith-only” salvation don’t demand baptism’s necessity… but will immerse & claim their baptism is in the name of Christ (Baptist, Nazarene, etc.)
Deciding At The “Fork” • What is the one who stands at the fork and is interested in baptism to do? • The only safe thing to do…he must compare what a church teaches re: baptism to the inspired word of God
Deciding At The “Fork” • Only then will he know the correct path to take that will lead him to God Psa 119:105
Conclusion • A spot everyone comes to • You don’t need to be confused…the Scripture affirms the importance of N.T. baptism Acts 10:47 22:14-16 • Will you accept the 1 N.T. baptism?
