Migration patterns • The dolphins live in warmer waters. They mainly live in Mediterranean Sea, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
Characteristics • blue/dark-grey and white stripes and blazes • body length is 2.4 m, 130-140kg’s for males and 2.2 m, 110-120kg’s for females. • Slimmer body shape combined with long beak, which is separated from their forehead, and they have a curved dorsal fin.
Food • The Striped Dolphin can dive up to 700 meters to hunt deep water species, it usually eats fish, squid, octopus, krill, and other sea creatures.
habitat • The striped dolphins habitat is anywhere the water is over 20°C some examples of its habitat is Mediterranean Sea, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
Adaptation • blow hole’s. • Camouflage.
