Like good parents, teachers should be concerned first and foremost with the kind of people their charges are becoming.” NelNoddings

  3. What does it mean to Develop Community? Turn to a partner….discuss, create a list, and prepare to share your ideas with your peers!

  4. The best methods, the most carefully planned programs, the most intriguing classroom centers, and the most exciting materials are useless without discipline and management!

  9. Community Blueprint… Assignment Guide Discussion continued • List of Read-aloud book • List of all resources used or found in developing this blueprint • At least 3 OMIES that support Community Building and your reflection on each • Professional Reading and Reflection Journals

  10. Questions? • Each of the 9 sections will be worth 10 points • The “check in” for the SEP e-folio work will be worth 5 points • Professionalism will be worth 5 points Total points available for RED303 = 100 points
