  2. Organization Overview History • Loaves & Fishes Centers was founded in 1970. They provide hot noon meals to seniors in neighborhood , and deliver Meals-On-Wheels to homebound seniors. In 2010 they served 1.3 million meals. Vision • No senior will go hungry or experience social isolation. Mission • Enrich the lives of seniors and assist them in maintaining independence by making nutritious food, social contacts and other resources easily accessible. Values • Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, Creativity, Compassion, Commitment

  3. Requirements & Opportunities to volunteer • Meals-On-Wheels Driver • Requirements: must be 18 years old, have a driver's license, own vehicle and insurance. • Kitchen Support • Requirements: must be at least 13 years old

  4. What Do I Do When I Volunteer • Help to pack meals in coolers for Meals-On-Wheels drivers • Serve beverages to seniors as they come into the center • set tables • serve lunches • help clean up
