PLOT SUMMARY • Goodman Brown goes into forest • Encounters a man and gives Brown his walking stick and is invited to a ceremony • He encounters a group of people who he thinks is evil filled with the townspeople including his wife Faith • After returning from his trip in the forest he thinks that everyone is evil • He now lives in fear
