Transport details – Outward journeyThursday, 28th June 2018 • Arrival at Cheney School 2.15am • Departure from Cheney 2.45amTours Designed • Departure from Folkestone 6.20am Eurotunnel • Arrival at Calais 7.55am (local time) • Arrival at the accommodation 4.30pm • Evening walk to Gutenfels Castle • BREAKFAST LUNCH

  4. Transport details – Return journeyMonday, 2nd July 2018 • Departure 8.30am • Departure from Calais 5.20pm Eurotunnel • Arrival at Folkestone 5.50pm (local time) • Arrival at Cheney 9.00pm

  5. AccommodationDJB Kaub • Students - Rooms sleep 3-4 in bunk beds • with en-suite facilities.

Activities • Thursday 28th Arrival at the hostel Walk to Gutenfels Castle • Friday 29th Visit to Marksburg Castle - full tour Lunch in Braubach or Lahnstein Afternoon concert at BoppardMusikpavillon am Rhein Evening programme (Mr B. big fat quiz of the year!) • Saturday 30th Visit to Loreleyplateau viewpoint Summer Tobogganing! Evening concert at Bad Munster am Stein Ebernburg Sunday 1st Rhine River Cruise to St. Goar Lunch and some leisure time is St. Goar Afternoon concert in Bad Bertrich Evening souvenir shopping/browsing the Christmas Shop! Monday 2nd Travel day back to Cheney School

  7. Concerts We will be performing every day on tour. We would like all students to wear all black smart clothes, so please make sure you have your concert dress with you!

  8. What to pack Comfortable clothing (layers) Sensible shoes for walking Waterproof jacket Sun cream / sunhat / sunglasses Rucksack for day trip (a small dictionary?) 1 Towel (they are not provided at the hostel) Camera Water bottle Concert dress Instruments if needed!! Hoodies!! Lanyards will be given out on the coach One small suitcase / holdal each!

  9. Medical Information PLEASE ensure all the latest details have been communicated to us. All medicines must be labelled clearly. Miss Jackson, Mr Barquilla, Mrs Giles and Mr Etheridge are all first aid trained

  10. Mobile phones • Will be staying at home in England! • However, parents will be informed via Mr Etheridge, our blogger! • However, in case of an emergency, please do not hesitate to ring Miss L. Jackson
