Your preferences are made known to the participating-institutions in the form of 5 bands. New arrangement of JUPAS • During your allocated time-slot after the release of DSE result • Students can REPLACEup to 5 programme choices on the selection lists with new programmes / ADD a maximum of 5 new programmes to the original choices (as long as the total number of programme choices does not exceed 20)

SSSDP • Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/ Sectors • a new subsidy scheme initiated by the Education Bureau to subsidise up to 1,000 students per cohort to pursue designated full-time locally-accredited self-financing undergraduate programmes in selected disciplines to nurture talents to meet Hong Kong's social and economic needs. • The unit subsidy will be administered by a two-tier arrangement • subsidy of up to $40,000 is provided to non-laboratory-based programmes • subsidy of up to $70,000 is provided to more costly programmes which are laboratory-based.

Application details • The places of the subsidized programmes should be allocated mainly through the JUPAS in order to ensure eligible students are selected through a • merit-based system • Each programme under SSSDP has a JUPAS code • such as JSST01 • Application is the same as other programmes under JUPAS
