  1. KU Trailer Back view Left Side Equipment Stack with HPA Inverter at bottom. Set the inverter to Mode 2. Right Side Equipment Stack with modems with Inverter at bottom. Set the inverter to Mode 2. Both inverters are at the bottom of their respective racks.

  2. SLI-24-115 Inverter The Hard Power Switch must be in the ON position for the Inverter to function. If the Inverter is in Standby mode, power will still flow, but batteries will not kick in if AC power is lost. Use the Soft Power Switch to change from Standby mode to operate. 3. To change Inverter settings while Ku Trailer is in operation (page 1). STAND BY… If Inverter Screen shows then press the Button. Step1 STARTING… The display should indicate followed by the screen below. If the Ku Trailer is running and the Inverter is already turned on, you can proceed to Step 2 without performing Step 1. Vout=xxx.xVac Iout=x.xxAac Step2 until the display shows or Press Vgrid=xxx.xVac Igrid=x.xxAac If this screen shows “Load -> Grid” then continue with the steps to verify the other settings. Step3 until the display shows or Press The Vout and Vgrid should be close to 120Vac. If the Vgrid and Vout are also not within 20% of each other, contact Datapath FSR and have them check the inverters and generator. Master Ad. I Stand Alone T.Switch Online Load->Inverter S Press once to see followed by Step4 The screen will return to the Vgrid or Vout screen in a few seconds on its own.

  4. To change Inverter settings while Ku Trailer is in operation (Page 2) Step5 This will include the Password which is “0000”. The default for pressing enter without the up or down arrows is “0”. 7. To change Inverter settings while Ku Trailer is in operation. (Page 5) Master Ad. I Stand Alone T.Switch Online Load->Grid S Press once to see followed by If you do not see Load -> Grid then start from step 1 again. If it does not work properly the second time, contact the Datapath FSR to assist you. Follow these instructions for both Left and Right inverters on the Ku Trailer. When you change from Mode 1 to Mode 2, you may notice a system outage. This may be a minor outage with no downtime or it may require the HPA to go into delay-T status for a few minutes (usually no longer than 2 minutes) and should come back up on its own. Maintain visibility of the system until it comes back up. If it does not, ensure everything is still turned on and has not tripped a circuit breaker. If the Ku trailer is not currently in operation, power everything up with the onboard generator and, once powered up, perform the steps above.. You must ensure that DC power is applied to the inverters by turning on the DC inverter power switch on the Right side stack. You must also ensure that the Battery Charger on the Right Side stack is turned on as well in order to maintain a charge on the batteries for backup purposes.
