Brief Club Info! • Academic study groups almost every week on first year and sometimes second year courses • Usually it is run by second year, third year, sometimes fourth year, probably not fifth year, definitely not sixth year • Our social events are not just academic we have more social events which will be explained later on • We are going to have lots and lots of fun together muwahahaha
History of Nova Scientia • Formed Jan 2008 as first academic organization • 2008-2010 • Use to be a blog covering science and technology • Launched podcast on site and Itunes • Under grad could shared unique opinion, views, perspective of what mattered. • 2010-2012 • Lack of social events killed member base • Was too focused on academics • Changed to adapt not just science but different majors • Changed to academic tutorials • Increased social events • Warm atmosphere to members!
