  3. Personal Information • Steven Spielberg was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 18, 1946. He is still living at the age of 65. He is also still directing movies as a director, the best movie director to ever live. He was the oldest and only boy of four siblings. He was a bit spoiled by his parents and got only average grades in school. He was constantly moving throughout his life. From Ohio to New Jersey to Arizona to northern California.

  4. Accomplishments • Steven Spielberg had plenty great accomplishments in his life as a movie director. He has won numerous grammy awards for his movies. The kinds of movies he directed were probably movies you have seen. As an example he directed Saving Private Ryan, Jaws, Indiana Jones movies, E.T., Etc.

  5. Challenges/Obstacles • Steven Spielberg did have some challenges as his life as a director. He had to overcome going to a average college at Long Beach State to becoming into a great director; as he wanted to go to UCLA. And there were other obstacles like after the making of the movie of Jaws, he had tremendous pressure to make another great film, which he did in the making of Close Encounters of the Third Kind 2 years after Jaws. After Close Encounters he went on to be a complete icon as a director.

Fun Facts • Steven Spielberg used to have a restaurant in Santa Monica, CA called “Dive” but it was closed in 1999 so he opened up a new one called “The Milky Way” • A man named Jonathan Norman was caught stalking Steven, threatening to rape him, and was sentenced to 25 years to life in jail in the year 1998 • Spielberg was in Micheal Jackson’s music video for the song “Liberian Girl”

I now live in Virginia. • I like to do things like playing sports, video games, watching TV, etc. • Just like Steven Spielberg, I too love movies. • I also like listening to music. The music I listen to is Eminem and a bunch of rock bands • My favorite teams in sports is the San Francisco Giants, The Pittsburgh Steelers, and Duke College.
