IQRA Initiatives • A healthy senior-junior relationship. • Namaz with Jamaat at each hostel. • A discussion among Muslim students on various issues and their solutions(Mushwaira) • Taraweeh and Iftaar in congregation during Ramadan. • Collecting funds to help the needy(both inside and outside ISM) • Building a MOSQUE at ISM.

  8. Mushwaira ….A discussion among Muslim brothers. • Daily Mushwaira at each Hostel after ISHA. • Grand Mushwaira (All final years and representatives of each hostel) at Sapphire Hostel. ALLAH the exalted has said in the QURAN: “And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful ”

  9. IQRA - Helping the needy Collecting money for: • Helping any ISM brother in need of money. • Outside ISM: • Helping any outsider in dire need of money. • Marriage of any orphan girl or a widow. Our holy prophet (SAW) is reported saying “I and one who takes care of an orphan whether related to him or a stranger, will be like these two in paradise ;” and raised his forefinger and middle finger to illustrate this. (Muslim)

  10. Building a MOSQUE at ISM Our Grand Initiative….. “If you want Islam to progress build a mosque. Wherever our Jamaat is established, a mosque should be built. Our Jamaats progress is founded on the construction of mosques. If there are only a few Muslims in a village or a city, build a mosque with good intentions and ALLAH will bring more Muslims to that place……..”

Importance of a Mosque at ISM • Difficulty in Namaaz with Jamaat at Hostel rooms with increased number of students. • The nearest Mosque about 3 kms away. • Classes after Lunch held from 1:30 Pm, creating difficulty in attending The FRIDAY PRAYERS. • A Mosque will facilitate and promote worship of ALLAH . It will fosters unity and brotherhood among the students. A prayer that is truly approved in the sight of Allah is the one offered in congregation at a Mosque. The prayers that are offered at homes (hostels) are considered incomplete. A perfect prayer is the one offered in congregation at a Mosque

  12. In the MOSQUE In the Mosque there will be provisions for… • An Islamic Library • A Study centre. • Iftaar and Taraweeh in Ramadan. • Daawah (propagation of true teachings of islam) • Facilities for stay of Daawah Jaamats The estimated cost for the mosque around 25 Lack Rupees.

  16. Brothers ! imagine the amount of good deeds written in our account if we just contribute something for a noble act. Imagine this for a MASJID. Every single moment of remembrance of ALLAH, every single Namaaz, every single reaching of ALLAH’s message to peoples’ ears, every single turning of people towards ALLAH and leaving of sins and offering of repentance and “taubah” by their families, generations, societies, nations and world. Wherever the impact reaches till Qayamah, it will fetch us the same reward as their’s and good deeds will be written in our account even after we die.
