  3. ArtsCenterGallery Staff • The East End Gallery needs volunteers! • Monday through Thursday 5 to 7pm and Saturdays 2-4pm • Counts as your service activity or arts event • Email Christy King at gallery@artscenterlive.org

  4. ArtsCenter CreativeCorps • Interested in getting involved in the arts but don’t know where to start? Join Carrboro ArtsCenter’s new volunteer program CreativeCorps • Start volunteering at different weekend events to get to know the ArtsCenter and its many features, then start working in more specialized areas within the arts • Find more info on the KP website

  5. 2nd Friday Artwalk Volunteers Needed • The Artery is presenting an undergraduate show at the ArtsCenter now through the 15th • We need a couple volunteers to work at the ArtsCenter at 2nd Friday Artwalk, on November 12 from 6pm to 9pm

Leadership Positions • Available Positions: • President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Social Chair • *President only open to juniors and sophomores • Elections are held in Dec., begin working Jan. • Email me by Thanksgiving with a proposal for candidacy - include your position of interest, why you’re interested and what you can bring to KP

  8. Artery Takeover • We will start training two new directors and a curator to take over the Artery this Spring, to take over starting next summer/fall • You would begin working with us next semester, and hopefully put together the summer show on your own • Submit applications (email the Artery to request one) by November 30 • Contact us with any your questions or concerns

Member Contact Info • We’d like to collect everyone’s contact info and use it as a resource for Kappa Pi and our members • Please email the following contact info to ndavila@email.unc.edu • Name, preferred email address, phone number, year, major(s), and any other relevant info (like work) • A document with everyone’s contact info will be sent to Kappa Pi people, so let me know if you don’t feel comfortable having your info sent around and I can exclude it from the mass document
