  1. Efland Cheeks Elementary School Wattage of MONITORS AND COMPUTERS By: Milosh, Gavin, Jo’Keah, Alexis O., Juliann and Natalia

  2. Our Goal • Our goal is to save wattage at our school to lower the price of the electricity bill. • Our school electricity bill now is about $5,300.00. That was only in one month! • We were thinking of replacing some of the monitors that take up too much kilowatt hours.

  3. Our Graph And Our Hard Work • We are of making a graph about how much the wattage is being used when the monitors are on ,off, on screen saver and when it is asleep. • We went around the school to test all the different kinds of computers. We got the data for these monitors… • Fat Dell • Flat Dell • Fat Compaq • Flat Compaq • Fat View Sonic • Fat Sony • We tried to test the computers, but they wouldn't give us the data that we needed.

  4. How many Monitors we Have • We have about 140 monitors in all • We have 70 flat screen Dell monitors • We have 67 fat Dell monitors • We came together and calculated about how much wattage the fat Dell monitors took up over 8 hours. The one Dell monitor took up 424.0

  5. Our Recommendations • We think that we should replace the Fat Dell monitors with Flat Dell monitors. • We also think that we should not have these Fat Compaq monitors. We think that we should replace them with the Flat Dell monitors.
